James B. Tillotson, Jr, 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones. Throughout his battle with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), James showed us what it means to live with strength and courage and dignity.
James was a loving son, brother, husband, father and friend. You could always find him in the kitchen, happily preparing various cuisines he enjoyed, including comfort meals like his beloved Cajun gumbo and healing chicken soup. He loved being in the outdoors, among the nature he so appreciated, either camping and fishing with his sons, or golfing with his friends.
James was preceded in death by his father, James, his mother, Lucia, and his brother, Mark. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; his children, Eric, Ryan and Kate.
The family would like to thank the staff at White Acres for their compassion, love and support during this difficult time. A gathering to celebrate James will be scheduled at a later time.
