
After graduating high school, Jane married her high school sweetheart John C. White. She was a homemaker who supported and followed her husband through dental school and a career in the U.S. Army. Jane was an avid reader and developed a love of cacti and the desert southwest. She and John were very active in local organizations like the El Paso Cactus and Rock society and The Chihuahuan Desert Wildlife Rescue.
Jane was a talented artist who made and sold jewelry at the Ardovino's Desert Crossing Farmers Market for years. She was a great cook and delighted friends and family with an array of delicious Christmas cookies and candies each year.
Jane was a warm, generous and sweet person who made friends wherever she went. She laughed easily and loved her family unconditionally.
Jane is survived by her family:
Children: Toni White Subia, Vicki Galyon, Greg White (Yong Hui), Deanna Davee (Phelps), David White (Cherie); Grandchildren: Tai Subia, Brandy Jaramillo (Daniel), Arianna Klaus (Philipp), Cameron Davee (Leanne), and Parker Davee; Great Grandchildren: Lucia Jaramillo, Bennett Klaus.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband John and son Charles Michael; by her parents Arleigh and Florence Parkin and her brother William Parkin.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice at 299 Montana Ave., Las Cruces, New Mexico, 88005.
A family Celebration of life will be held in December.
