Javier Avalos Valdez

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Javier Avalos Valdez, on Monday, October 14, 2024. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones, after losing his battle with cancer.

Javier was a loving and devoted husband and father. He is survived by his loving wife Rita and his daughter Cristina. Siblings Armida, Lalo (Graciela), Jose Luis, Guadalupe (Anselmo) and numerous nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Antonio Avalos and Norma Martinez.

At this time, we would like to thank Dr. Roberto Prieto not only for the care he provided but also for his understanding and compassion.

We would also like to thank Pastor Angelica Morales for the many times she unselfishly gave of her time to provide comfort and peace to our loved one.

A visitation for Javier will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at San Lorenzo Catholic Church, 611 Avenida De San Lorenzo, Clint, TX 79836. A vigil/rosary will occur Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 611 Avenida De San Lorenzo, Clint, TX 79836. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 611 Avenida De San Lorenzo, Clint, TX 79836.
