Jesus R. Moreno, 73 of El Paso, Texas passed away on February 12, 2021. He was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on March 7, 1947. Jesus “Chuy” Moreno graduated from Canutillo High School. He was married to Teresa Z. Moreno on September 5, 1970.
Throughout his life Jesus “Chuy” Moreno worked in general maintenance for Asarco, White Acres Good Samaritan and Tucson International Airport. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and had a passion for auxiliary pioneering, gardening, fishing, helping others and he was very crafty.
He is survived by his wife Teresa Z. Moreno, children: Darlene R. Fernandez (Sergio), Laura I. Reyes (Luis), and Jonathan R. Moreno (Jennifer), grandchildren: Joshua R. Moreno, Alexis M. Castrillo, Andres A. Fernandez, Aaron M. Connelly, Destiny A. V. Reyes, Nevaeh S. Reyes, Acazia A. Reyes, Jaelynn R. Moreno, great-grandson Adriel J. Fernandez, mother in law Ofelia M. Zubia, and his siblings: Maria Ramirez, Juan Antonio Moreno, Salvador Moreno, Mario Moreno, Guadalupe Sanchez, Enrique Moreno, Martha Franklin and Joe Moreno.
The visitation will be held on Friday March 5, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the Service to begin at 6:30 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home - West, 5054 Doniphan Drive, El Paso, TX 79932.
