Jesus J. Ortega, age 82 passed away on Sunday December 26,2021 in El Paso, Tx. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be dearly missed. Jesus was born on June 25th 1939 in El Paso Tx. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys he was also a big WWE fan. Always loved listening to Rock-N-Roll and oldies.
He was preceded in death by his parents Maria Luisa Lopez and Antonio Ortega. Siblings Francisca Mendoza, Celia Villa, Teresa Montenegro, Lorenza Ortega, Guadalupe Garcia, Ricardo Ortega. Jesus is survived by his sisters Estela Hernandez and Rosa Lozoya , wife Maria Dolores Ortega of 53 years. Children Jesus Antonio Ortega (Monica), Enrique Ortega, Lydia Ortega (David), Grandchildren Laura,Annie, Anthony Jay (Tony), Valerie, Irvin, Alyssa, Brianna, Bianca and Great-Grandson Andy Jaymeson Ortega.
A visitation will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 Carolina Drive El Paso, Tx on January 11, 2022 5:00-9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00pm. A funeral mass will occur on Wednesday January 12, 2022 at 9:30am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 602 S. Oregon St. El Paso Tx. 79901.
