Jesus "Pete" Trujillo

December 25, 1937 - May 5th, 2025

Pete, a Navy veteran who served honorably on the aircraft carrier USS Midway, was a Christmas baby born to Carolina Garcia and Pedro Trujillo on December 25, 1937, in San Elizario, Tx. He spent 59 amazing years married to his wife Olga Romelia Trujillo and they raised 4 children. He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 26 years and then worked for the El Paso Elections Department for 15 years. Pete was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and horses. He absolutely loved being outside, especially to work on his garden. He enjoyed Rosa's Cantina and the Sunland Park Racetrack....2, 5, 7 IYKYK.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Carolina Trujillo, sisters Amy Rueda, Helen Rueda, Adelina Rueda, Olga Hernandez, Carol Alba, Edel Trujillo and brother Armando Trujillo.

He is survived by his wife Olga Romelia Trujillo, his sister Becky Dominguez (Louie) and his 4 children: Diana Maione (Thomas), Pedro Trujillo (Julia), Marina Schlinke (Brent), and Jaime Trujillo (Keitha) and by his 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

On Tuesday, May 13th a viewing will be held at 9:00am at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest West followed by a Rosary service at 10:00am. The funeral mass will be held at 12:00pm at St. Matthews Catholic Church. There will be a private burial at Fort Bliss Cemetery.
