John Charles "Jack" Bracy

9 agosto , 19509 julio , 2019

John Charles “Jack” Bracy went home to be with the Lord on July 9, 2019. Jack was born at Ft. Hood in Killeen Texas on August 9th, 1950. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Sally Kathleen. Jack is also survived by multiple loving family members and countless friends. Jack was preceded in death by his mother Mary and father John Bracy, his sister Jean and brother Dan. Jack grew up in El Paso, and went to Irvin High School and UTEP. He graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business. Jack was a friend to everyone he met. Besides being a friend to strangers, Jack was the first responder to anyone who called for help in anyway, always lending a hand or giving free advice on a wide range of topics. His knowledge and expertise was insurance and financial planning, but he was able to easily talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime and make them feel like they had known each other for decades. Jack did not have any enemies, you could not help but love Jack as so many people do. Jack’s passing will leave a huge hole in the lives of those left behind in his family, friends and business circles. All who were blessed to have had Jack be a part of their lives will no doubt remember his charming wit and humor, his love for his faith, his encouraging wisdom, and his passionate love and devotion to Sally.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13. This Scripture verse is the picture of Jack. He was always immersing himself in the lives of others, praising God and giving Him the glory for a life well lived. Jack always told us, “take a deep breath.”

Jack and I go back to 1976 when he was managing the New Buffalo downtown and I was playing in rock bands. In 1994 I was told about the opportunity meeting at PFS, walked in and there was Jack. We recognized each other and I immediately signed on, got my license, invested in wonderful financial products. So Jack changed my life but I saw how he changed other's lives. Through the years he was not only my upline but a great friend. Always a pleasure to speak with Jack and enjoyed his advice and company. I will miss him dearly.

Jack has been my friend since 1981 and his passing has left me without one of the best friends I will ever have. When I would do or say something that would exasperate him just a little he would say; "Christy, Christy, Christy," then follow up with some truly sage advice that would be pure Jack.

I joined his ALW Team in the Fall of 1981 during the crazy, good old days of a fairly new company. He challenged me at every turn and made me want to be better and competitive. After I moved to CA in 1985 we still kept in touch and remained forever friends. Sadly, I'll just have to move on without Jack and his wry wit and great advice, but he'll always have a place in my heart.

Farewell Jack and whatever it's like out there I'm sure you're blissfully enjoying your new adventure. ❤️

Jack was hilarious! I loved him and was always so happy to see him. Sally K was his pride and joy. I miss him terribly already.

I will always remember my buddy, Jack. At every moment when we talked, Jack found humor to push me in Primerica. To expand my thinking and finding resources for me to grow and develop. When moments occurred that I needed to talk to him about something serious, he was there; true gentlemen and genuine. Rene N.
