Jose Federico Anaya, 91, passed away on Saturday February 17, 2018. Jose was born February 7, 1927 in Pueblo, Colorado. Jose is survived by sons Gilberto Anaya, Fred Anaya, and Javier L. Anaya; daughters Aurora G. Anaya Dyer, Lety Anaya, and Elsa Anaya; brother Eugenio Anaya; sisters Marta Anaya and Socorro Ibarra; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. Jose was preceded in death by his spouse Magdalena Chavez Anaya; brothers Francisco Rocha and Antonio Anaya. A visitation for Jose will be held Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, with a Vigil at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Friday, February 23, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Saint Patricks Cathedral, 1118 North Mesa Street. Interment will occur Friday, February 23, 2018 at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 South Zaragoza Road.
