Jose Montelongo Jr.

Born in El Paso to loving parents Jose Montelongo and Jesusita Montelongo on December 6th, 1937, Mr. Montelongo was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a caring husband, father, and grandfather, deeply cherished and respected within his community. He loved his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, especially during football and holiday gatherings that brought everyone together. He was also the proud owner of Precise Cuts, where he formed lasting bonds with his clients and employees, whom he viewed as family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Jesusita Montelongo; his sister, Maya Chavez; his grandson, Anthony Montelongo; and his parents-in-law, Nicolas and Dolores Acosta.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Elia Montelongo; his brother, Frank Montelongo; his children, David Montelongo and his daughter-in-law, Tracey Montelongo; Adam Montelongo and his son-in-law, Austin Montelongo-Raths; and his daughter, Cynthia Montelongo. His loving grandchildren include Clarrissa Saucedo, Celeste Saucedo, Alec Montelongo, and Andrew Montelongo.

Jose's spirit and kindness will be profoundly missed by all who knew him, especially his loyal dogs, Milo and Miley.
