I still can't believe you're gone. I have the picture of DAVID you drew for me while you were in Italy and cherish it dearly. You are missed, my friend. May you continue to rest in peace.

Juan was a great friend. I worked with him for many years at Bel Air High School. My brother also knew him from Asarco. He was great company. His intelligence and life experiences were interesting and enlightening. Condolences to the family and God Bless all of you.

Juan you were like a father to me and my boys.  Who would have known that the smartest guy in my physics class at UTEP would become my best friend at Bel Air High School years later. You shared your love for ballroom dancing, opera, painting & science with me and my boys. I thank God to have met such a giving person like yourself.  Until we meet again. Teresa Gutierrez

Mi estimado amigo Juan,  May our Lord grant you Peace and Eternal Rest.  I will forever treasure our long conversations on philosophy, history, culture, art, poetry and science.  Above all, I am grateful for your gift on unconditional friendship and support . I remember our work at UTEP, Bel Air and elsewhere.  l I will miss you but know you are in a far better place.
