Juana F. Garcia, age 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 11, 1929. Juana lived a long and full life, characterized by her unwavering devotion to her family and her strength of spirit.
Mom was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ysidro Garcia, and her cherished daughter, Mary Garcia and all her siblings, making her the last of her immediate family. Despite these profound losses, she remained a pillar of strength and resilience for her family. She is survived by her four children, Manuel Garcia and his wife, Sara, Isidro Garcia, Jr. and his wife, Linda and her two daughters, Benita Garcia and Irene Vasquez. Her family was her greatest joy and source of pride. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Mom took immense pleasure in family gatherings, where her laughter and warmth created an atmosphere of love and togetherness. Her home was always a place of welcome, filled with delicious meals she lovingly prepared and stories that bridged generations. Mom had an incredible way of making everyone feel special and cherished. Her dedication to her family extended beyond her immediate household, as she was always there to offer guidance, support, and love to extended family and friends. Throughout her life, Mom exemplified the values of hard work, perseverance, and kindness. Her legacy is one of love, strength, and unwavering faith. She taught her family the importance of togetherness and the power of a loving and supportive family unit. Mom's life was a testament to the beauty of a fulfilled life, one lived with purpose and passion. She leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide her descendants for generations to come. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. As we say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing that she is now home in heaven, free from pain and enjoying God's promises of eternal life. She is reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her, and we look forward to the day when we will see her again.
A service to honor and celebrate Mom's life will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024 at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 N. Zaragoza Rd. Visitation will begin at 10:00am, the Rosary will begin at 11:30am followed by a Celebration of Life prayer. She will be laid to rest at Mount Carmel Cemetery at 2:00pm. Rest in peace Mom, you will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
