Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Juanita Marquez, 89 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 04, 2018 surrounded by family. Juanita was born March 08, 1929 to Francisco and Maria Lerma. Juanita had been a life-long resident of El Paso and was a member of the Catholic Church. Juanita is survived by her 5 daughters: Yolanda Trevizo, Irma Munoz, Josie Tapia, Patsy Gonzalez, and Norma Mendoza, 27 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Brothers: Pete and Kiko Lerma, Sister: Coyo Holguin, She was preceded in death by her parents Maria and Francisco Lerma, beloved husband Alfonso Marquez and three sons, Alfonso Marquez Jr, David Marquez, and Sergio Marquez, Brothers: Tony and Totoy Lerma, Sisters: Lily Rodriguez, Chelo Mendoza, Nena Ben. Pallbearers: Alfonso Gonzalez, Richard Tapia, Gilbert Mendoza Jr., Sergio Marquez Jr, Alfonso Marquez III, Ricardo Avila, Benito Lopez Jr. , and Anthony Mendoza. Visitation will be from 5-9pm on Wednesday, September12, 2018 at Hillcrest Funeral Home- Carolina with a vigil at 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30am on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
