Kimberly Rae Duran

Kimberly Rae Duran, our loving daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend born June 1, 1991 went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 30, 2019. Kimberly was a lifetime resident of El Paso, Texas. She attended Americas High School and graduated from Montwood High School in 2009. Kimberly’s powerful presence brightened up every room. Her contagious smile and sense of humor put a smile on many faces. Although many people never knew the extent of her struggles, her compassion to help those in need was always a priority. Left to cherish her memory are her parents Eddie and Christine Duran, brother Jonathan Duran, sister Candace Gallarzo, brother-in-law Julian Gallarzo, niece, Dylan Abigail, nephews, Jordy Lee and Noah Cameron, whom she greatly loved. She is preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents Conrado and Helen Duran and Uncle Byron Chesbro. Kimberly will be deeply missed by her Maternal Grandparents Ramon and Maria Elena Samaniego, Great Aunt Virginia and Gus Arellano. She is survived by her aunts and uncles Gilbert and Veronica Duran, Daniel and Janeen Duran, Cynthia and Sergio Garcia, Lisa and Eddie Aguilar, Laura and Rich Villa, Ray and Aida Samaniego, Melissa Chesbro, Godfather David and Yvonne Samaniego, Godmother Rachel and Richard Valles, Melinda Samaniego and many cousins whom she adored. Kimberly will be missed by numerous friends including Veronica Velez, Noah Ramirez, Desiree Hernandez, Kimberly Muncie, Melissa Gomez, Armando and Jessica Saldivar and their children, and lastly, the love of her life, her yellow lab Castle “Little Pup”. Visitation will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina Friday, July 5, 2019 from 6:30P.M. to 8:30P.M. with a Celebration of Life at 7P.M. Cremation to follow.
