February 1, 1951 - December 19, 2024
Larry Crupper passed away on December 19th, 2024. He was recently diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), which quickly claimed his life. He courageously battled and successfully overcame Non Hodgins Lymphoma cancer several times since 2000.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Jo Brock Crupper and Gerald Lee Crupper, and brother Gary Crupper. Larry is survived by his wife, Mardi, son, Tyler Crupper (daughter-in-law Bridget), baby granddaughter, Collins, and daughter, Kamryn Crupper Kelly (son-in-law Sean).
Larry lived his entire life in Texas. Born and raised in Levelland, Texas, he grew up loving and playing sports, participating in church activities, and going on family camping trips. He also developed an early age work ethic, washing airplanes in trade for flying time, to get his private pilot license by age seventeen.
He graduated from Texas Tech University, in 1973, with a BBA in Business Administration and began working in medical sales. Settling in Dallas, lead to a career change to the steel industry and meeting his future wife, Mardi. They were married in 1982 and spent many weekends entertaining and water skiing at Lake Tawakoni.
The last Texas relocation, was El Paso, to explore business opportunities for a few years which ended up lasting 40 years. Larry learned and appreciated business nuances, vision, and creativity, that started a family partnership over 35 years ago, as Four Seasons Sunrooms and Four Seasons Construction.
Personally, Larry had an inner confidence to focus on things that were important and enjoyable to him without the need to impress others. He kept his personal workout goal of never missing more than one consecutive day of exercise which became even more important as he got older.
Larry valued and maintained lifelong relationships. His quick wit and bursts of laughter were a joy to hear and in turn made others laugh. Immensely proud of his children, he supported all their endeavors with the same enthusiasm his parents had given him. He treasured his family and spent free time either following sports, tending to his yard, or listening to music. He felt blessed for everyday on this earth.
