Lorraine and Cindy Handley were the first two people I met in 1978 when we moved here. They were walking home from MacArthur in Dec for Christmas break. My brother saw them and asked what grade they were in and they said 5th, so he went inside to get me, as I was also in 5th.  We became fast friends! We kept in touch even after high school throughout our adult years! I loved calling into the radio station to play Lorraine’s Lunchtime lyrics!  I will forever be grateful for her friendship throughout the years! May she RIP. My sincerest condolences to her family. She  was such an amazing woman.  I will miss her 

As we are driving from Ft Worth to El Paso,  for your funeral, I'm remember all the time we spent together.  Since 3rd grade, we have shared so much together.  You were always there for me. I still can't believe you are gone.  You are one of the strongest women I know.  I love you and miss you so much.  I'm heartbroken 💔  RIP, Lori. Love you girl. 💖

Lorraine was a great person .. we lost contact a few years ago and to find out of your passing was very shocking .. all the wonderful memories rushed back into my head ..may you RIP my beautiful friend ..and fly like those butterflies you always loved 💔

I didn't know Lorraine very long, but I liked her nice personality and I'm glad we became friends. After years of hearing her on the radio, I got to meet her at the Pershing inn at a gig where she was doing some PR for the Fox. We became  buddies who saw each other occasionally at gigs and texted a bit too.


I'm very sorry to hear of her passing and my condolences to her family members who survive her. She is missed, and will continue to be missed! She's a kind soul.
