Lucia Herrera

Lucia Herrera, 90, born in Valle De Olivos, Chihuahua, June 25, 1934 went to be with her Lord and Savior August 17, 2024 in El Paso, Tx, after a long and beautiful life alongside her departed husband Miguel Herrera and loving children and family.

She is survived by her children Miguel R. Herrera, Maria Guerrero, Ricardo Herrera, Laura Mendez and departed son David Herrera.

Lucia Herrera was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother who has left behind many who will cherish her memory and loving nature. Lucia Herrera was a woman of great faith who lived a humble life in a small neighborhood surrounded by loving friends and family. She was someone who always welcomed anyone into her home; whether it was a shared delicious meal or just a visit to catch up, Lucia always made her guests feel safe and loved. Her green thumb and beautiful garden would delight any visitor who entered her home and her passion for birds filled the air with beautiful songs. Lucia was one of a kind and although she is gone, she will never be forgotten.

Services will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home located at 1060 N. Carolina Dr., El Paso, Tx, 79915 from 6pm - 9pm with the rosary starting at 7 pm on Monday, September 16, 2024. Please join us in celebration and remembrance of the life of the beautiful and loving Lucia Herrera. May she rest in peace and be in the safe and loving embrace of our Lord and Savior.
