Lynette S. Meyer

Lynette Le Stover Meyer was born in Latimer, IA, on Feb. 22, 1949, and began her eternal life on Jan. 16, 2025. Lynette served as a Christian Education Director at St. Luke United Methodist Church and First Presbyterian Church in El Paso for over 30 years and most recently served as pastor for Christ Community United Methodist Church in El Paso. Lynette was called to serve the Lord and leaves a legacy of Christ’s grace and love with everyone she was blessed to know. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy William Stover and Neva Miller Stover, and her aunt Erma Reid. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Larry Meyer of El Paso, TX; her daughter and her husband, Nicole and Jack Teal and her grandchildren Lana and Mikey, of Frisco, TX; her cousin Bruce Reid and wife Donnie and countless treasured friends.

The family wishes to especially acknowledge the support and love provided by Rosa Cardenas, her daughters Kimberly and Victoria. A special thanks to the congregation of Christ Community UMC for their undying love and support.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 3, at St. Luke United Methodist Church 9915 Montwood Dr., El Paso, TX. A time of celebration and fellowship will immediately follow in the St. Luke Fellowship Hall.
