Magdalena is survived by her husband, Antonio Gomez Sr.; her son Antonio Gomez Jr (Diane Dominguez Gomez); and her daughter Ivette Gomez; her brothers Gilberto Avalos and Jose Raul Avalos; her sisters Mericia Gonzalez, Romelia Neri, Oralia Gonzalez and Virginia Avalos; her granddaughters Ashley Gomez, Shaylee Syrena Gomez, and Michelle Renee Diaz, her grandsons Antonio Gomez III, Samuel Francisco Gomez and Aaron Rey Diaz, and her great grandson Amari Avery Muniz.

Magdalena was preceded in death by her sister Hortencia Orozco.

A visitation for Magdalena will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 North Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79936. A prayer service will occur Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 1462 N Zaragoza RD, El Paso, TX 79936, Texas 79936. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 1, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Centro Cristiano Sion, 1145 N Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907. A graveside service will occur Friday, September 1, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79930.
