It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Manuela De Santiago, who entered eternal rest on April 14, 2026, in El Paso, Texas, at the age of 81, surrounded by her loving family.
Manuela was born on April 20, 1944, in Jerez, Zacatecas. She was a devoted wife to Jose Manuel De Santiago and a loving mother to her children: Armando, Eduardo, Arturo, Rosa I., Jose M. Jr., and Rosa A. She is also survived by her brother, Jaime Roman.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Martha P.; her grandson, Nathaniel; her brother, Juan Roman; and her sister, Lupe Roman.
Manuela’s legacy lives on through her 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She will be remembered for her delicious cooking, her warm and generous spirit, and the joy she found in spending time with her family and friends. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the comforting aroma of her meals.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to St. Teresa Nursing and Rehabilitation, especially Samantha De Santiago, Dr. Nancy Torres and all the wonderful staff, as well as U.S. Renal Care, for the compassionate care and support they provided to our loving mother during her time there.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
