In Loving Memory of Margarita “Mague” Cordero passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at the age of 94. She joins her husband of 52 years, Reymundo Cordero, her parents Anita Sanchez Herrera and Gregorio Espinoza Herrera, her sister Manuela Trujillo and brothers Rigoberto Herrera and Ruben Herrera in the Lord’s heavenly kingdom.
Mague is survived by her sisters Evangelina H. Diaz, Rita O’Rourke, Martha Downs, and brother Edmundo Herrera, sister-in-law Bertha Herrera and many nieces, nephews and their children.
Her life will be celebrated during a rosary at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, Texas 79915 on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Viewing will take place between 6:00 – 7:00 pm with a rosary to follow. Her funeral mass will take place on Friday, September 10, 2021, at St. Raphael Parish, 2301 Zanzibar Rd., El Paso, Texas 79925 at10:00 am. Her burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Fabens, Texas.
