Margarita M. Mendoza

Margarita exemplified strength, perseverance, and unwavering love for her family. She built a home filled with warmth, where her children and grandchildren often gathered. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending time outdoors, tending to her garden, and listening to the songs of her cherished canaries. But above all, her greatest happiness was her family. She loved being with her grandchildren, celebrating their successes with pride and joy.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Mendoza, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage. She is survived by her children, Marcela, Elida, Carlos, and Alfonso; her grandchildren, Armando, Gabriela, Nicolas, Jonathan, Yamili, Brenda, Jose, and AJ; and her great-grandchildren, Aliya, Cataleya, and Tiago.

Margarita’s love was a source of comfort, safety, and support to all who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory and the love she shared will remain in our hearts forever.

Funeral Services

A visitation will be held on February 14, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at: Martin Funeral Home 1460 George Dieter Dr. El Paso, Texas 79936 A Rosary will be recited at 4:00 PM.

On February 17, 2025, at 9:00 AM, the burial service will depart from Martin Funeral Home to: Fort Bliss National Cemetery 5200 Fred Wilson Ave., El Paso, TX

Con profundo pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Margarita Mendoza el 10 de febrero de 2025, en su hogar, rodeada de sus seres queridos. Estaba a solo cuatro meses de celebrar su 90° cumpleaños.

Margarita fue un ejemplo de fortaleza, perseverancia y amor incondicional por su familia. Construyó un hogar lleno de calidez, donde sus hijos y nietos se reunían con frecuencia. Disfrutaba de los placeres simples de la vida—pasar tiempo al aire libre, cuidar su jardín y escuchar el canto de sus queridos canarios. Pero, sobre todo, su mayor felicidad era su familia. Le encantaba estar con sus nietos y celebraba con orgullo cada uno de sus logros.

Le precede en la muerte su amado esposo, José Mendoza, con quien compartió 40 años de matrimonio. Le sobreviven sus hijos, Marcela, Elida, Carlos y Alfonso; sus nietos, Armando, Gabriela, Nicolás, Jonathan, Yamili, Brenda, José y AJ; y sus bisnietos, Aliya, Cataleya y Tiago.

El amor de Margarita siempre fue un refugio de seguridad y apoyo para quienes la rodeaban. Su ausencia será profundamente sentida, pero su recuerdo y el cariño que nos brindó permanecerán en nuestros corazones para siempre.
