Marguerite Oursland

Marguerite (Monie) Oursland passed away December 17, 2011 at Tri Sun Care. Monie was born In Sioux City, Iowa October 3, 1921 the daughter of Gunder and Marie (Odegaard) Gunderson. Monie married GeorgeOursland in 1941 and moved to El Paso in 1943. Monie was active in the Sol Hjem Norwegian Society, Anthony Country Club, St. Paul's Lutheran church and Franklin Mountain Lutheran Church. Survivors include her daughter Jane Pingel Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Susan Conklin (Garland) Muleshoe, Texas and Kristen Burke (Paul) Gallatin, Tennessee, grandchildren Chelsea Green (Conklin), Matthew Conklin, Katie and Baylee Burke and great-children Madelyn, Lyla, Nash and Olivia Green, Tyler and BehrConklin. She is preceded in death by husband and son George Jr., her parents, Brother- George, Sisters-Berenice Hagen, Esther Bushnell and Alice Lymer. Memorial services will be held at chapel of Kaster-Maxon and Futrell Dyer Street at 1:30, Thursday December 22, 2011. Visitation with the family present will be one hour prior to the service Thursday at the chapel. Burial Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials in her name can be directed to an organization or charity of your choice . A special thanks to Tri Sun Care and all who helped during her time of need.
