Born in El Paso, Texas she was the daughter of Luis Ybarra and Lazara Villa Ybarra.
She attended Bowie High School and later completed requirements for her GED. She was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter-in-law, grandmother, greatgrandmother and great-great grandmother.
Mom was an excellent seamstress and made outfits for daughters, granddaughters and grandsons as well as drapes, quilts, etc. She loved to dance and spent many an afternoon at the Memorial Park Senior Center dancing to her favorite tunes. She enjoyed traveling and took several cruises and trips to destinations in Mexico, Canada, and Brazil and in the US. She will be remembered for having a fun loving personality, her willingness to try new things and her strong spirit which helped her survive several severe health crises in the past.
Mom is survived by her children Marta Fierro (Robert), Berta Mendoza (Joe) Caesar Aguilar (Rebecca). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 greatgrandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter. She is also so survived by her sister-in-law Carmen Ybarra of Whittier California. She was predeceased by her son Oscar M. Aguitar Jr., her parents Luis and Lazara Ybarra, her brothers Luis, Pedro, Eduardo, Miguel, and her sister Amparo Marquez.
Visitation will be held on Dec 13, from 4-8 pm with rosary at 6 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina Dr. Celebration of life mass wilt take place Dec 14 at 11:30 am at St Raphael Catholic Church 2301 Zanzibar Rd with internment at Ft Bliss National Cemetery at 1 pm.
