Joe Orrantia & Family,

A mother’s place can never be filled, and her loss will be with you forever.   But her memories should be treasured and her life celebrated for the amazing woman she was.  My thought's & prayers to the Orrantia Family.   She was a beautiful Lady and I had the pleasure of meeting this lovely Lady.  

Eternal rest, grant unto Maria Orrantia  O Lord
and let perpetual light shine upon Maria Orrantia.

I didn’t visit El Paso often but when I did, I always stopped by to visit with you.  You always welcomed me with a hug. Always offering me something sweet to eat.  You made me smile.  My regret…. That I didn’t call you, though you were always in my thoughts. But how would you know that when I didn’t call you. For that, I am truly sorry.  
Of my kids, Tina got to know you when she was baby but not much after that.  My younger two did not have much time with you.  I do talk to them all about you and they know you from pictures, which I will continue to show them. I will hold your memory in my heart.  You will not be forgotten.

I should have hugged my grandmother a little longer and tighter the last time I saw her.  What a blessing that Hazel was able to meet her great grandmother. I remember having conversations during my work breaks about how she felt as she was getting older and she would laugh and tell me she didn’t feel as old as she saw herself, she still felt young. A few months back we sat down and did a family tree for one of my assignments for school and now I’m so glad we were able to do it together.  I know she is in a better place and finally at peace.  Love you, Hazel and Kayla ♥️

To my Sister Consuelo
I hope everyone sees what I see....You are beautiful!  After the loss of our sister Celia, I started calling you on the phone on Sunday mornings.  You always told me you loved me and through the ups and downs of life we understood what it meant to have each other.  A little bit of you will always live in me.   Hasta luego; we will meet again.  

As I sat alone in a hospital room looking at my Mom's lifeless body, I reflected on the things that I could have done or should have done, to make her life on earth happier.  So many years I had to accomplish this simple task, yet I failed.
Thank you God for receiving her in your kingdom, for taking away her pain and suffering and for giving her back joy and happiness.
Miss you Mom!

I am so very sorry for your loss.  Remember her fondly as you grieve.  Grief is the price we pay for love.  My heart and prayers are with you all.
