Maria Aniceta Alvarez Rodriguez

Maria A. Rodriguez, “Cheta”, 89, passed away November 8, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was born in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband: Fausto Rodriguez and her daughters: Altagracia R. De Luna and Rosa Maria Rodriguez. She is survived by her children: Maria Eugenia Ibarra, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Arturo Rodriguez, Martha Leticia Guevara, and Juan Rodriguez; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Cheta was a woman of immense faith who volunteered at Santo Nino De Atocha Catholic Church for many years. Cheta loved children and cared for every grandchild and some of her great grandchildren. She was an extremely generous and giving person with an extreme amount of patience and unconditional love for her family and others. We appreciate everything she has done for every one of us. We are comforted in knowing that she is reunited with the Lord and loved ones and she will continue to watch over us. We love you very much and miss you deeply! Pallbearers will be Mario Alberto Rodriguez, Jose Luis Rodriguez Jr, Leonardo Rodriguez, Eduardo Arturo Ibarra, Carlos Roberto Ibarra, Antonio De Luna Jr, Victor Daniel Alvarado, Daniel Jesus Guevara, and John David Guevara. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 am on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
