She was a terrific person above all else. I have nothing but fond memories of the time she was my supervisor . deepest condolences.


Casey, in 1986 at Paisano Main Office, when i'd leave for the day, I'd tell Ms Sargent, "Me voy porque es justo y necesario".  She would look at me trying to recall where she had heard that phrase.  Finally one day she started laughing when i said it.  Excited she told me she heard it at mass at Mt Carmel.  It's when the Priest says "Demos gracias a Dios".  We then answer, "Es justo y necesario."  i recall her each time.  Condolences from James & Josie

Ms. Maria Sargent was a hero to many women in the Paisano Main Post Office.  She showed us that while men outnumbered women by far, she was an examplary supervisor  who was fair and performed her duties with dignity.  I was a 204B under her and we shared nice stories. I met Maria Sargent in 19 83 when I was hired by the Postal Service she was my first supervisor and I trained under her and learned a lot although she was a strong supervisor I learned a lot from her knowledge at work my deepest sympathy to you Casey and your daughter Pantene

I recall meeting Maria Sargent my first day of work at the USPS. She knew how to immediately get your mind focused on work. A very firm, but fair Supervisor who really had a big heart. I will always have fond memories of her. May she rest in peace. 

Mrs. Sargent...i met ut at 15yrs when I had my real love ur grandson millford the 3rd.  U scared me but somehow I knew u kinda liked me.  U were a strong force...a legacy thats always yours...you will own it forever. And all the we feel will never end.  Im sad I hadn't seen u in years but somehow the fear u gave me reminds me of the love.  Never forgotten always stong always a legacy always missed ❤
