Mario López was born on May 24, 1931, and passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 96. He emigrated from Mexico to

California with his entire family. Years later, he decided to come to El Paso, Texas.

He is survived by his children; Maria Silvia, Blanca Estela, Martha Elena, Lucia, and Mario Jr., 13 Grandchildren, 21 Great-

grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great-grandchildren.

His teachings centered on doing things right, and he would not accept "I can't." He was a man of firm conviction; his relationship with God led him to say, "With God's will"—or "If God wills it”.

He loved life and had decided to enjoy it and learn from his experiences to grow.
