As a devoted mother of two sons and two daughters - Pablo, Bertha, Linda, and George - Marisa poured her heart and soul into nurturing her family. She was a proud grandmother to Adam, Audrey, Michael, Olivia, Georgia, Connor, and her great grandchild Ailani who brought her immeasurable joy and love. Her unwavering determination as a single mother served as a beacon of inspiration, as she sacrificed tirelessly for the well-being of her children, instilling in them the values of hard work, integrity and compassion.

Marisa's commitment extended far beyond her family circle. She dedicated herself to giving back to her community, fostering children, assisting senior citizens, and supporting causes like Saint Jude Hospital. Her limitless energy and efforts knew no bounds.

A beloved figure in her community, Marisa was known for her grace, beauty, and love for her home of El Paso. In addition to her many accomplishments, Marisa was also a crowned pageant queen, captivating hearts with her elegance and charm. Her journey to becoming a U.S. citizen symbolized her relentless pursuit of a better life for her family and legacy.
