Mark was the beloved son of Commander John H. Nicholson, USCG (Ret.), and Patricia J. Scott. He is survived by his wife, Kelli A. Bowers, his son, Marco Nicholson, and his four grandchildren Hailey, Allison, Genesis, and Marco who brought immense joy and pride into his life.
A proud veteran, Mark served in the United States Army Air Defense from 1987 to 1999. His commitment to his country was matched by his dedication to learning and craftsmanship. After his military service, Mark pursued higher education and earned a degree in Welding and Metal Fabrication, a field in which he excelled through skill, precision, and creativity.
Mark will be remembered for his strength, his loyalty to family, and the quiet determination that guided him throughout his life. His presence will be deeply missed, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
