Mary Bernice Guy

BERNIE GUY, a 50 year El Paso resident, passed away July 27, 2011. She survived by her children Mike & Carolyn Guy & family of California, Fred & Sharon Guy & family of Houston, Cherie & Eric Lehman & family of California, Victoria Guy of El Paso, Scott & Donna Collins of El Paso & Sunny Bunny. She & her late husband Lt. Col William Guy, choose to retire in El Paso after an extensive Air Force career, which had enabled them to live in Japan & the orient as well as various U. S. communities. She later traveled through Europe. Bernie’s zest for Life, different cultures & education allowed her to positively interact with people worldwide. She never met a stranger. As a legal secretary, she worked for various attorneys including John Grambling & Ricky Feuille as well as the West Texas Council of God & the County Courts. Passionate about U.T.E.P & the miners, she was a devoted fan. She enjoyed the Dinner Theatre and rarely missed a performance with a true flair for style, fashion & artistic creativity; she seriously enjoyed being “A Girl”. She loved her children, family, friends & life. Bernie (mom) is unforgettable to all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home West. Interment will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 9:00 AM at Memorial Pines Cemetery, 3601 Memorial Pines Ln., Sunland Park, NM. Services entrusted to Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N.
