Melvin Raymond Dixon

Mr. Melvin Raymond Dixon, 75, El Paso, Texas passed away September 12, 2018. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00am followed by funeral service at 10:00am Monday, September 17, at the Restlawn Cemetery Chapel, 4848 Alps, El Paso. Committal service will be held at 11:15am Monday in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Dixon was born August 15, 1943 in Georgetown, Texas, son of Alan Dixon and Tommie Lee Shanklin. He is survived by his wife Herlinda (Cebreros) Dixon, children Carl Dixon, John Dixon, Benjamin Dixon, Ricardo Cebreros, Tommie Dixon, Norma Lujan and Clara Esparza, 20 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother James Shanklin, sisters Geraldine Hines, Homezele Guerrero and Lessie Mae Luster, extended family and friends.
