Mercedes Vasquez, 93 years old, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017. Mercedes is preceded in death by her sons, Salvador Alvarado Jr. and Raul Alvarado. She is survived his sons, Eduardo Alvarado, Robert Vasquez Jr., Alfredo Vasquez; daughters, Dolores Armendariz, Consuelo Pacheco, Norma Alvarado, Yolanda Pacheco; brothers, Ramon Sanchez, Manuel Sanchez; sister, Cecilia Estrada; 24 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr. with Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be Friday, March 10, 2017 at 12:00 pm at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church, 503 Hunter. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Hillcrest Funeral Home, El Paso, Texas.
