

MJ was born and lived in Pontiac until 1996 with aunt Margaret.
He moved to Ortonville with Dew’s family until 2001, He graduated from Brandon HS in 2001 where was the Prom King and football player.
MJ attended at Ferris state University located in Rapids, to Si Tanka University in Huron South Dakota from 2001-2004. Then he was transferred to Bacone college until 2007, he studied Criminal Justice and played football as defensive lineman.
MJ lived in Oklahoma for 2 years, Alabama 1 year and his last 12 years in Texas.
MJ was passionated at the law enforcement field; he worked for TDCJ as correctional officer Sargent in maximum security prisons, and his last employment was for Corecivic in security and as case manager.
Lions was MJ’s football team, a complete fan “go blue” and Michigan football follower. MJ loved sports, loved watching football, and continued playing football at El Paso.
MJ was a sweet compassive person, so friendly, with adventure spirit , he always with a big smile.
He loved Puerto Rican and Mexican gastronomy, loved nature, travel, active player of games online with friends and music (rock, rap & country).
Mj’s jokes, laughter and love will always be remembered by your wife, family and friends.
MJ is survived by his wife Veronica Alanis-Jackson, son Hayden Anthony Jackson, mother Tami Jackson, father Frank Ortiz, sisters Geraldine Smith , Cassandra Collar, Marylin Ortiz , brother Marvin Ortiz , many nieces and nephews.
