Nancy Riggins, age 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2025. She was born on October 17, 1934, in El Paso, Texas, the daughter of the late Wallace Douglas and Mary Anna Patrick. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert R. Riggins, and her eldest daughter, Katherine Riggins.
She is survived by her son, Philip Riggins, and her daughter, Debbie Torres. Nancy held a deep affection for her daughter-in-law, Lorena Riggins, and her son-in-law, Gustavo Torres. Her unwavering devotion to her children was equaled by the love she had for her grandchildren: Bethany (Rachel), Bernadette (Ernesto Jr.), Jeremy, Elisa, and Emilio. She was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Tristen and Mara.
Family and friends are invited to honor her life at a visitation to be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Evergreen East Cemetery, located at 12400 Montana Avenue.
