7-19-1935 -- 9-10-2015
God saw you getting tried,
When a cure was not to be
He wrapped his loving arms around you,
And whispered, “COME TO ME”
You never deserved what you went through,
So He gave you needed rest
God’s heaven must be beautiful
He only takes the best!
Our heavenly Father has called his daughter home.
Olga Abraham Jorjorian (80) was born and raised in El Paso, Texas.
She graduated from (UTEP) formerly Texas Western Collage at the young
age of 19 with a master’s degree in Education. She then went on to work for
EPISD and wore many hats during her tenure. She had the honor of being a teacher,
a counselor, an assistant principle, and the director of student services, but through
all those positions, she never lost sight of what was truly important to her,
advocating for all families, adolescents and youth in El Paso.
Her career had spanned over 44 years, dedicated to the adolescents and
families of all ethnicities, creed, color, and economic backgrounds alike.
She provided guidance, respect, and morals that helped shape their lives
and their futures along the way. Her recipients have had nothing but praise
and admiration for her! We are so proud to call her WIFE & MOM every time
one of her past students, co-workers, colleagues, tell us that if it wasn’t for HER
their lives would have been negatively impacted! She guided and advised all of
them to become more, and do more; incidentally they succeeded because of it.
But there was nothing more important in HER life than family, her husband,
her children, sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, but most of all her 5 grandchildren!
Her greatest legacy still!
She was the daughter of the late Fahim and Olga Abraham. She is preceded
in death by her son Andrew Paul Jorjorian, (mommy is coming to be with you
my SON, my BROTHER) and by her brothers Harry Abraham and Robert Abraham.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years Leon Jorjorian Sr., her son
Leon Jorjorian Jr., and her daughter Anne Jorjorian-Raynal, and SIL Armando Raynal.
Also survived by her 5 grandchildren; Austin Jorjorian, Christian Jorjorian, Andre Raynal,
Anya Raynal, and Evangeline Jorjorian.
She was from a large Middle Eastern family, one of 5 sisters, very dear to each
of them and also survived by them; Marlene Nabhan, Hope Ekery, Bonnie Gillett,
Sandra Eddy, SIL Louise Jorjorian, Rosa Abraham, Jeanette Abraham and all of their
spouses along with many, many nieces and nephews, as well as close friends
that grew to become like family.
Pallbearers are Paul Abraham, Leon Ekery, Matthew Gillett, Scott Gillett, John Abraham,
Charles Abraham and Zachery Eddy.
Honorary pallbearers are Norman Ekery, Bernard Gillett, James Eddy, Robert Yoseph Sr.,
Robert Yoseph Jr., Billy Yoseph and Barry Yoseph.
