Oscar Vasquez

Oscar Vasquez, 87, was called to Heaven on July 8, 2025. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Left to continue and cherish his memory are his children, Monika Johnson (Wes), Melinda Quirk (Patrick), Marisela Calderon (Charlie), Oscar Vasquez, Jr., and his eight grandchildren.

Oscar always had a kind word and smile on his face. He loved the Lord and his family deeply, and everyone was his friend. While all who knew and loved him will miss him greatly, we are comforted in knowing that he is now resting in the arms of our Lord and has been reunited with his dearly beloved wife, Irma, in Eternal Glory. Until we meet again, we will carry your smile in our hearts.

A Funeral Mass will be held on July 30, 2025, at 9:30 am at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar Rd, El Paso, TX 79925. Inurnment will follow at 11:00 am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
