My loving mother, Patricia Anna Lavender passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 in El Paso, TX surrounded by family. She was a lifelong resident of El Paso, having graduated from Irvin High School, class of 1975. She worked for over 20 years at El Paso Natural Gas Company and retired in 2000.
Thereafter, she devoted the rest of her years helping raise her four beautiful grandchildren. She was so proud of them, attended their school events and volunteered at their school.
My mom loved spending time with her grandchildren and family, baking, and enjoyed arts/crafts and designing. She also enjoyed spending time with her pets, watching horror movies, and shows such as, The Walking Dead, Survivor, Housewives and The Golden Girls.
She was preceded in death by her father Walter L. Lavender Sr.; sister Rosa L. Gad; mother Maria L. Ward and brother Walter L. Lavender.
She is survived by her daughter Daniela S. Lavender and son-in-law Mario A. Delgado; grandchildren Alexah M. Delgado, Isabel Delgado, Madison Delgado and Nathan M. Delgado; siblings Lilia Teaney and Carlos Lavender; brother-in-law Chris Gad and sister-in-law Alma Salazar Lavender; nieces and nephews, Alessandra Gad, Ethan Gad, Stephanie Teaney, Megan Clark (Andrew), Jason Lavender (Shannon) and Eric Lavender; great niece Vienna Lavender; Martin Olvera and countless family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Vigil Service to begin at 6:00 p.m. at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 N. Zaragoza, El Paso, TX 79936. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 10000 Pheasant Rd., El Paso, TX 79924. Rite of Committal will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her mother.
