

away from cancer Saturday, February 27th, 2010 at the age of 79. He was a
veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Vietnam War. Having received the
American Legion of Merit Award, he retired after 23 years of service as a CSM. He
dedicated much of his free time as a member of the American Red Cross Disaster
Team following his second career as a realtor.
He is preceded in death by his eldest son, Patrick John. Survived by his wife of
50 years, Barbara, two daughters, Nicole and Christine, one son, Michael Paul, and
nine grandchildren; Aaron, Sarah, Sean-Paul, Nicholas, Patrick, Brittney, Alexis,
Shelby, and Cole.
Being born in St. Gallen, Switzerland September 11, 1930 he also leaves behind two
Brothers and two sisters all residing in Switzerland.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010, at Funeraria Del Angel Martin East from 5-
9 P.M. with recitation of the rosary to begin at 7:00 P.M. The mass will be held on
Thursday, March 4th, 2010 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at 11:30 A.M. Interment will
follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. where he will be laid to rest with full military
honors. His kind heart and spirit will be missed by all!
