Paul McKenzie Sanderson, Jr. was born March 1, 1971, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a special needs adult, with Down Syndrome, who lived with his mother and then sister all of his life. He was loved by many people, and he brought love and joy to anyone he met. He was always quick to say sorry and wanted everyone to be happy. He was Baptized in Dell City, Texas and loved all the people he met. The Ice Capades was a favorite for him to go to each year. He always like to watch Dancing with the Stars and wanted to be on it.
He is survived by his sisters Faith Poe, Charity Poe Rakes and her husband Randall Rakes, a brother Alton B. Poe and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Paul was 53 when he passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, and will be missed and remembered by many.
He was an example to all to be quick to smile and offer his love.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home, 128 N. Resler Dr., El Paso, TX 79912. Graveside Service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Memory Gardens of the Valley, 4900 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa, NM 88008.
