

Lived in Fort Handcock, Texas most of their life Dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grand-mother.
She enjoyed cooking, bowling, listening to music, dancing, and being a mom. She was also a fan of watching the Dallas Cowboys play. She is preceded by her husband of 70 years, Jose Castro Sr. Her parents Enrique Baeza and Maria de Jesus Baeza. Her siblings Sonny Baeza, Jerry Baeza, Alma Bond, and Irene Parada.
Survivors are her children: Gloria (Julio) Cruz, Corina (Sergio) Nunez, Jose (Gina) Castro Jr.
Grandchildren: Julio (Wendy) Cruz, Cesar (Erika) Cruz, Karina (Edwin) Moloy, Bobby (Theresa) Maldonado, Joey (Vanessa) Maldonado, Andres Alderete, Alejandro Alderete
Great Grandchildren: Ashley Cruz, Bryan Cruz, C.J. Cruz, Natalie Cruz, Nicole Cruz, Nathan (Karina) Moloy, Valerie Moloy, Edwin Moloy Jr., Tevyn Maldonado, Makenzie Maldonado, Kaisen Berrett, Briella Alderete

A visitation for Pilar will be held Monday, July 7, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, TX 79936. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at External Service Location, 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79938.
