Pinkney Jefferson Garrison III

PINKNEY JEFFERSON GARRISON III (JEFF), died peacefully on July 14, 2018 in El Paso after a long heart and lung illness. Jeff was a Retired Army Major serving for over twenty years with assignments in Fort Bliss -Texas, Okinawa, Fort Sill – Oklahoma, Korea, Cleburne – Texas, Vietnam, Germany, Nekoma - North Dakota, and Key West – Florida. He always provided and maintained a warm and happy home for his wife Levada and son Dean in all varieties of circumstances. Jeff was born to Pinkney Garrison Jr. and Erma Ruth Meeker on May 11, 1935 in Phelps, Kentucky, and is survived by Brother Andy, Son Dean and Wife Gail, Nephew Scott, Nieces Lara and Michelle, Grandniece Samantha and three Grandsons Ian, Sean and Evan, Great grandchildren Isabelle, Ashton, and Abigail. Jeff wished that his friends make a donation to the American Lung Association in lieu of flowers. Graveside Service and full Military Honors for Mr. Garrison will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 9:00 AM in the West Shelter at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with a Post Chaplain officiating.
