

She was born in Savannah, Georgia, on September 16, 1939, to Ferris “Curly” Howard and “Cliff” Brinson Howard. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers Gene and Kenneth Howard as well as her husband of 47 years, Thomas William Yutz. Prissy is survived by her daughter, Earlyn Smith and grandson Joseph (and partner Irma Soto) and James Smith. Also part of her extended family are stepsons Mark Yutz and Sky Dolan, and their uncle, David Evans. Also surviving is her son, Joel Parsons.
Her work career was in finance, and she was vice president in charge of tellers at the historic Southwest National Bank in the late 1970’s.
After retirement Prissy and Tom traveled to Kenya, Africa, went on safari, and shared a hot-air balloon ride there with the actor, Charleston Heston.
In her later years she maintained her friendships with longtime friends Sandra Gibson and Suzanne Carpenter as well as neighbors, Irene and Paul Saucedo and Phil and Marie Fernandes.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Prissy at the Riviera Restaurant on Doniphan on Saturday March 7 at 12:00 noon. Close friends and family are invited to join and say farewell.
Graveside service for family will be held at Memory Gardens on McNutt Rd at a later date.
