Rahme Mowad

Our dear and beloved Rahme Makhoul Mowad, age 82, passed away on July 25, 2013. She was born in Akar, Lebanon and immigrated to the US with her late husband, Joseph George Mowad in 1956. She is survived by her loving daughter, Josephine Mowad-Chehedeh and four precious grandchildren, Julia Khoury and husband Sami, Linda Acosta and husband Adam, Ramie Canales and husband Roberto, Cliff Chehedeh and wife Andrea. She had eight great grandchildren who were the joys of her life, Julianna, Lilliana and Raeanne Khoury, Adam and Avae Acosta, Lola and Roberto Canales, and Chadi Chehedeh. She is also survived by her brothers, Toufic Makhoul, Abrao Makhoul, and Nabih Makoul. Pallbearers will be Cliff Chehedeh, Sami Khoury, Adam Acosta, Dr. Roberto Canales, Carlos Mansour, Christian Halloul, George Halloul and Jacob Mowad. Honorary pallbearers include Afif Chehedeh Sr., Kenneth Mowad, Toufic Makhoul, Raymond Makhoul, Milad Farah, Farajallah Younis, Francis Khoury, John Mowad, Dr. Roberto Canales and Alejandro Acosta.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 29, 2013 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Trisagion service at 7:00pm at Martin Funeral Home West. Funeral Mass to follow on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 10:00am at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 120 N. Festival Dr. with burial thereafter at Evergreen Cemetery, 4301 Alameda.
