Ramon “Ray” Montes, born May 10, 1954 went to be with our Lord and Family in Heaven on February 28, 2018. He proudly served his Country in The United States Marine Corps with a rank of Corporal. He was in the USMC band where he played the saxophone he loved music and continued his passion with his own DJ service where he played for family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. He is survived by His brothers Conrado W. Montes (Becky), Jackie Hamilton, Carlton C. Hamilton Jr. (Emma E. Dominguez) and his sister, Elizabeth Monsisvais (Victor), his Niece/Daughter Melissa Hamilton, Yvette Valle (Victor), Edward Hamilton (Hilda), granddaughter Erised and his brother-in-law Gilbert Avila Sr., many nieces and nephews. His burial will be at a later date at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with full Military Honors. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 from 5:00-9:00p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home- East.
