Ramon A. Retana, passed away peacefully at home on Friday February 24, 2017 at 12:20 am. He is preceded in death by his son Ramon Rene Retana. He is survived by his wife Eladia, the Love of his life, loving children Blanca E. Retana, Sylvia and Gabriel Espalin, Ana L. Retana and Alma and George Jauregui, his grandchildren Gabriel and Bridgett Espalin, Ivette and Eddie Doblado, Gizzette, George Jr., Gizelle and Kahmee Hall, Lizette and Gabriel Flores, Dave and Krystal Alvarez, Gione and great grandchildren Taylor, Zachary, Mia, Derrian, Devin, Caline, Ace, Amaya, Armani, Kalleigh, Kendall, Hailey, and Aria. He is also survived by his niece Dolores Leyva along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 am on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery East.
