Raquel Eunice Mireles

Age 59, of Santa Teresa, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 1, 2024. She was born in El Paso, Texas, to Rebeca Avalos and Roberto Avalos.

Raquel is survived by her loving spouse, Lorenzo Mireles; her devoted mother, Rebeca Avalos; her children Lawrence Mireles Jr., Bobby Mireles (Marcy Mireles), Joe Mireles, Tony Mireles, and Daniela Adriana Mireles. She was a proud grandmother to Melody Faith Mireles, Riley Hope Mireles, Lucy Everly Mireles, Angel Gibson Mireles, Little Joe Greyson Mireles, and Liam R. Mireles. Raquel also leaves behind her beloved brothers and sisters, who will cherish her memory forever.

Raquel was preceded in death by her father, Roberto Avalos.

Raquel was known for her unwavering love for her family, her kind heart, and her commitment to those she held dear. Her legacy of compassion, strength, and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest West, 5054 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, TX 79932. The following day, Wednesday, November 20, 2024, a graveside service and interment will take place at Memory Gardens of the Valley, 4900 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa, NM 88008, at 1:30 PM.
