Raul "Ruli" Olivas Jr.

Raul Olivas, Jr. born on July 2, 1951, passed away May 25, 2025, in El Paso, TX at the age of 73. A lifelong resident of El Paso, he was the son of Raul (†) and Herlinda Olivas (†). He attended Ysleta High School, enlisting in the U.S. Navy soon after, serving his country faithfully for 4 years. Most of his working career was dedicated to the grocery business and retired from the industry as a Store Manager.

He was a member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed bowling, attending UTEP sporting events, and was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandsons, devoting himself to them.

He is survived by his loving wife Norma with whom he shared 42 beautiful years of marriage. He is also survived by his son, Fred Zeh III (Nancy), grandsons Diego Roman and Mateo Raul Zeh, brother Frank Olivas (Carol), and sister Susana Olivas Cooper (Chuck †). He will be met in heaven by his father, mother, sister Rosalinda Olivas Fierro (†) (Joe †), and son Brian G. Zeh (†) in glory and eternal rest.

Funeral services will be held June 13, 2025, to include a 11:30 am mass at St. Raphael Catholic Church on 2301 Zanzibar Rd. El Paso, TX 79925 with interment to follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
