It is with the heaviest of hearts to announce the passing our our beloved brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend, Ricardo Bustamante. Ricardo "Richard" passed away Monday, October 2, 2023, surrounded by family and friends at a local hospital. Richard's laugh, love of life and personality were memorable and one of his most enduring traits. He will always be remembered as an individual who tried to help his friends and family anytime he could.
He is preceded in death by his his parents, Yolanda and Roberto Bustamante. He is survived by his brothers Roberto Jr., and Rogelio; nephews Roger Alan, and Robert Jeffrey, and his sister in law Maria Elena Carnera. He will be deeply missed by his numerous loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and of course, his closest loving friends, referred to as "The Girls."
A memorial service for Richard will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a vigil service at 7:00 PM at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 North Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas 79936.
A Fallen Limb
A limb has fallen from our family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says "Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue on, I'm counting on you, Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don't worry about the falls that come up. I will miss you all dearly from heaven above. Until the day comes we're together again"
