Richard L. Brooks

Richard L. Brooks, age 97, of El Paso, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Richard was born in Greeneville, Tennessee on October 13, 1927, son of Jay I. and Ella Rae Brooks. He served his country in United States Army.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Norma J. Brooks. He is survived by his sons James Brooks and Leroy Brooks, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

A visitation for Richard will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer Street, El Paso, Texas 79904. Graveside service will be Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, Texas 79906.
