We are so saddened to hear about Mr. Newman's passing.  He was a real character.  He was always there to assist us with our business computer program.  He will be missed dearly.  We are so sorry. We're going to miss you Bob. Your tireless commitment to the gaming community where I had the good fortune of getting to know you over the past four years has left a lasting legacy. You made sure that everything was running smoothly by reminding people of their responsibilities, or by just doing the job yourself. Never one to shy away from work, you were always eager to help anyone and everyone who needed it.  You were strong willed yet respectful of other's opinions, and on those rare occasions when you were wrong you freely admitted it. We shared a passion for bike trips and as I just learned a birthday (a few years off though). Keep the rubber side down, and ride on.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family Bob. You meant a lot to us here in TAW. You will be missed MexicoBob but NEVER forgotten.

Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during the Cold War. Known as "Mexico Bob" in our gaming community, Bob was a 6 year plus member who offered solid support to gamers and produced game files that were enjoyed by many thousand of gamers. He was so popular that his forum profile was visited over 15,000 times by gamers wanting to know a little more about this guy who was always on hand to help. 

I've ran this hugely popular gaming website for over a decade and many thousands of members have come and gone as their interests change, but I will always remember Bob as one of the most helpful and popular guys my forums has ever been blessed with. I can't begin to imagine the loss his family is feeling right now.

We called him Bob in our division because we are like one big family. He was special, that's for sure.

 I got to know him quite well in the 5 years he was in TAW.

He was always early in TS making sure the server was up and running. In fact he would tell me he was checking the server every day because it would go down often. He would do so many things over and above his duties. At times I had to slow him down because he was doing duties that others should be doing. He loved TAW and it showed. He made several maps for our division game and so now one is being made in honor of him. Myself & the rest of us will miss him greatly.

Uncle Bobby, I am going to miss seeing you ride into Gatesville from El Paso on that Harley.  You rode until the day you passed, wow, what a way to go doing what you loved! Now you have moved on to much greener pastures.  You are now in a place where the bikes never get a flat or run out of gas!! I am going to miss you and I will see you and Daddy on the other side.
